I’ve won two awards for my writing about health and medicine: my story on Melbourne’s thunderstorm asthma epidemic received the Outstanding Feature Writing award in the 2017 NRMA Kennedy Awards, while my 2016 article on the prescription opioid epidemic won the ANZCA Media Award.
